In the area while delivering a cot to my brother in Wrexham so had to take the bike with me.
I met up with a couple of people from another forum for the day.
The weather could of been better (it could of been a lot worst as well).
The trip round the masts and boards was great fun if even if it was a bit wet and slippery in places buts the fun parts isn't it I had a few good moments when I had to unclip very quickly or take a straight line into the heather cause it was no way to make the bike do what I wanted it to do.
The boards were interesting a bit scary when I first saw them but most had decent antislip on them. I managed to put a front wheel off at one stage but the rest of me or the bike didn't follow.
Back into llandegla the trails were great really well thought out. The area isn't very high so there is a fair bit of ups and downs but all the climbs have a good down hill after.Good to ride with people that know the trail well so nothing can jump up and bite you.
I had a few scary moments on a few of the doubles on the black run going a bit fast to ride them but not having the bottle to go for it and try and clear them in one.
Had a look at the new black run due to open any time soon (insurance people had been in the day before) looks good big berms tabletops doubles and a bit bit of northshore that must of been 8ft high(looked nice and wide though.
I'll besure to have another go there when visiting brother in Wrexham. Very Happy
I'd say there isn't enough there for a whole weekend but could be tied into a trip somewhere else

How about we try and pop up for a day before X-mas?
