Looking to improve my riding after a few big accidents and was wondering if there are any skills courses running at Woburn or the surrounding area, I have been told about one running at Aston hill in wendover but didn't know if anyone had any more info or contacts?

Hi Sambuca

Try this guy, he's pretty well respected on the Singletrack website and gets very positive reviews :

http://www.ukbikeskills.co.uk

I know he does coaching at Woburn as well.

Or, there's Helen at Get Mountain Biking, who runs courses up at Woburn real regular.

Hi sambuca,

the good thing about "Get Mountain Biking UK" is that you can use your
tesco club points and book into a course.Plus i hear the instructor is
quite good too.

So what is it you are looking to improve on ?

Jim, basically looking to see if I have any major issues with my riding or I'd it's maybe because I have confidence than skill which is causing my crashes! Still recovering from a very badly broken arm from a dirt jump incedent and want to get my confidence back but have the skills to go with it if poss, hard cornering, pumping, jumping, all need lots of work. Feel ok on slow technical stuff but enjoy the fast bits and want to be able to ride some trail centres and not do myself any more injuries! Cheers sam
