Thetford - Sun 14 March

Hi everyone.

Just to confirm that there is an official Club Ride at Thetford planned this weekend.

There is plenty of singletrack to be had and trails including Hails Run that can be had....
I will be there so hopefully there will be other takers.

Meet point is at the Brandon visitors centre and there is a cafe there for food & drink!

10am start With a 2 hour drive from MK some may prefer a slightly later start though Mr Posty. Not me of course I'm up for a 9 start. Honest.

10 am start is good making it later means you get stuck in traffic traveling there


Is Brandon visitor centre the main centre?

Brandon visitors centre is the main one! The riding is very good and 2 hours will be plenty good for some thrills/spills.

High Lodge is the main one - but Brandon CP is signposted from Brandon (strangely!)

BTW did you know you have to pay to park at Brandon now? - about £2 or £3 (but cheaper than all day at High Lodge which is £9.60!)

Can't make this one I'm afraid as I can't see my mum saying "no darling I don't want you to spend time with me and cook me dinner, you go off and have fun with your friends instead!".

I shall squeeze in a couple of hours up the woods first though!

I offered to cook my mother a lovelly meal and take her for a nice walk in the country..............she said 'get lost I told you never to cook for me again and your not dumping me in the middle of nowhere and buggering off like your dad tried to do'

I've got a customer not far from there and it's easy to get to from MK. Should be an easy run on a Sunday morning.

Just watch for the speed camera vans on the dual carriageways around Cambridgeshire

Also, parking aint cheap there. I think it was about 7 quid for the day
