Mud tyres on lose surface and big rocks like penmachno =
one day i will look back at this and laugh but at the moment it hurts to much,maybe i should buy some boby armour  |

Yes I had an interesting one on Saturday with the boys. Put some summer Maxxis Larsen TTs on for Afan on Saturday. These rubber boots are FLIPPIN quick.....quickest rolling tyre I have ever ridden.......
Turned up to the Drop Off Cafe and it just started to rain a little, so would've ended up riding like Bambi on Ice !!
Ended up buying a pair of Jim's specials. A pair of Maxxis HIGH ROLLERS. 2.34 UST's ! These are bad ass for somewhere like Wales / France !! But they cost me £70.....captive market and all that. Would have cost £50 on Wiggle !! Lesson to be learnt there !
Great day though. NRG trail was amezin !!!
Plis I beat Dave to the top of all the hills.......

Yes I can get them for £40 a pair.........but not in the Afan Visitor's Centre car park !!
