| OOOOOOOOOOuuuuuuuuccccchhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
No X-Ray pics, I asked but the nurse was a bit of a she devil and said NO! She kept telling Jim off.
Jim was very kind, he propped my shoulder up with his bag but then decided he was missing a photo opportunity, so swiftly pulled the bag from under me so he could get his camera. my children are watching me type this so i wont write what i said.
I highly reccomend Morphine and Entinox, again the She Devil said NO when I asked for more.
We were at Harlestone Firs, Duston. It was a case of a mismatch of ambition and ability, a steep take of ramp and an even steeper angled front wheel landing.
Yet another broken Crash helmet.
See you all in a few weeks.

Spooky
That's exactly where I broke my collar bone in October.
off camber landing... catch the brambles... over the bars... snap
Martin, is it snapped in half or just split?

| Hi Martin,
Ah yes I remember the wonderful calming effect of the morphine when I did my collar done. It all to quickly wears of and the meanies wouldn't give me anymore.
Plus sleepless nights sat bolt upright on the sofa, trying not to move too much.
Go easy and don't rush back too quickly, we'll all still be here when your ready.
Take care

| Martin,
It was two and half months before I got back on a bike. I could of got back on the bike before that but I wanted to sure it was properly healed. Make sure they give you one of those nice blue padded slings, I found that a triangular bandage dug into my neck too much. I wore the sling full time for about a month. I also took double dose of osteocare (calcium) tablets everyday.
Take care

| I'll get some osteocare and ask for a decent sling when i go to the fracture clinic in a couple of weeks .
I'm off to Pyrenees in 3 months so will have to spend lots of hours on the turbo trainer to improve the fitness.
I think a skills course needs to be a priority as well! |

| I think a good dose of `spinning` classes with a mixture of morphine/red bull & energy in your water bottle will do the trick.....! And it will have you hanging off the ceiling/chandeliers or wardrobes into the early hours of the morning!
Good Luck!
& be lucky........¬...!
