| WEll done to to the hardy few!
It was a little wet and cold wasn't it
Ive just traced the route ( roughly) on to google maps and it came out about 18 miles (10 miles to the cafe) Plus 10 miles for me riding to studham from home
We lost 2 at the cafe feeling a little too cold and too wet so they called for a lift home I won't name names
It was a little slipperly in places and even a bit muddy at times. Would of liked to take in a couple more of the descents to Aldbury but conditions said no. The one that we did at full speed was just scary just so slippery once you were up to speed it was just no stopping.
I did get to wash my bike on the way home the roads were that flooded in was almost over the wheels at one point
Will have to put in down in the calender again when its drier _________________ The person that "looks" like they know what they are doing on a bike

| A big thank you to Darren for leading the ride!
I wasn't sure I'd make it to the start of the ride because the roads looked more like rivers...
A very entertaining ride, (slide?) and I hit the ground several times and had a puncture...
Enjoyed the cold soup at the cafe, I was past caring.
I'm glad to hear it was about 18 miles because I'm hurting in new places now.
Welcome to Dave and Rob on their first ride with the club...

| The conditions were pretty crap on the roads let alone the muddy stuff. Glad you had fun, sorry I missed you at the cafe but had a puncture on my travels. Then found a watering hole (no pun intended) near Tring reservoirs and had HOT soup and a fab homemade cake!
Well done Guys! See you in Wales.

| Well done Darren for leading the ride in such 'interesting' conditions, shame about the cold soup, maybe we should ride to BigG's cafe next time looking forward to Wales and next weekend, got my wheel back to day so I will be back on my scott _________________ Graham

| Hi all Thanks for the ride Sunday, appreciated the support and advice. Better luck next time with the attire and a bouncier bike wouldn't go amiss!!!!!! Would be interested in joining you all again if you come back to my neck of the woods. Bye for now Rob _________________ Graham
