| Hi Guys and Gals,
Social event of the year is here.. and this time it's an all day-er!!
First off, put Saturday the 22nd December in you diary and get all you Christmas shopping ordered off the internet before then for full bike festive cheer..
So, the plan is;
-Local bike ride in the late morning - Saturday ride around the woods ending at the George Inn Little Brickhill (Club night pub) for a festive afternon tipple in lycra and booties..
-Return clean in the evening (!) for a full delicious Christmas Dinner at the George Inn and festive celebration of the biking year; the club trips, best trails, biggest laughs and falls (including the infamous FUBAR trophy).
-I'm sure there'll be a late night Ocena contingent
Last year was very swish and an excellent night, though this year we've tried to make it ultra flexible so as many people can come as possible. The evening is the main event with husbands/wives/boyfriends/girlfriends/friends very welcome to join us.
The price of the evening is £25 for an excellent 3 course meal with coffee and mince pies. We'll try and get a deal on some vino to start the evening off with (included)..
I'll post the menu later in the week, but we need to get an idea of numbers and a small £10 deposit to secure the room. Trust us the food is excellent and it will be a great evening - Nath has 'made' some extra trophies and there will be a few surprises
Let us know if you are in + how many people. Deposit due by the end of the month (Nov), expecting to collect the full amount next club night Dec 4th.
See you there!
Little Gav, Big Gav, Nath and Fizz |

| Sounds good Gav.
So presumably people can just turn up for the ride/drink in the day or pop in in the evening for a drink if they can't do the full monty?
Anyway, count me in. |

| Just noticied that there is clearly a problem with the forum clock as I'm obviously out riding on a Sunday morning and not sitting at home with a coffee and a bacon sarnie browsing the net |

| You don't know how long it took me to find out how to stop the whole menu from scrolling across the screen and off the otherside!..
As you can see, a delicious selection to add to the night. £25 for the evening.
So far we have 9 people signed up, though we are expecting more! Need to confirm numbers soon and payment at clubnight - 2 weeks today on the 4th Dec. Everyone welcome (including partners and occasional riders!, might even ask Tracey Mosely if she's free to do her party trick eh Andy!).
Best if you write up here that you want in and we'll collate it all.
Menu choices to fizz - fizzatmaximumedgedotcom she'll be getting a list together..

| All, there will be a Cyclone charity raffle draw on the X-mas Party evening. All money raised will go to the "Ride for a Flight" Russ Pinder Appeal.
There will be loads of great prizes, including the following:
Phil Corleys have donated a item from the shop
1 x Introductory or Intermediate Course from Get Mountain Biking
25 x new release DVDs
Cycling Shirts
Bottle of Bubbly
But more to follow...........
Also it about that time of year when the Cyclone Committee asked the members to vote for the Cyclone Award.
I will be sending an email with all the details in the next week or so, but starting thinking of who is the king of the hills, who has taken a few too many nasty stacks, who breaks the most bike parts, who always has the best excuse for not riding.
See ya soon
