Christmas Party Time!!!!

Post  Caroline on 2009-11-06, 14:30

The time to celebrate Christmas is here again...........or just another excuse for a good meal and a couple of drinks with your friends. santa

We know the date: Friday 18th of December so now we need to know who is joining us and what you would like to eat. (15 have committed so far.)

The venue is la Collina @ The George Inn, Little Brickhill, followed no doubt in fine traditional form by a trip to Pink Punters.

The price is £25 which includes a 3 course meal, coffee, mince pies and some wine on the tables.

The dress code is Black Tie or if you don't own such an outfit, smarter than you would normally dress!

The menu is: (in short hand. I shall attach the full menu later for those that can read PDF or word)

Starter: 1) Roasted Plum Tomato & Canellini Bean Soup (V)
2) Mozzarella & tomato salad
3) Rustic Calabrese Bruchetta

Main: 1) Escalope of Turkey
2) Braised Beef & Pancetta in Red Wine Sauce
3) Fillet of Seabass
4) Roast Sweet Potato & Goat Cheese Orecchiette (V)
5) Gnocchi con Zucchini (Potato Dumplings with meat sauce,
Courgettes & a hint of Chilli.

Desert: 1) Christmas Pudding
2) Chocolate Bombe
3) Amaretto Cheese Cake
4) Cheese & Biscuits

So please let me know if you would like to join us as soon as possible. Partners, husbands, wives, and friends are all welcome. cheers

Then let me know your choices and I shall start collecting the money as and when I see you on Sundays. I shall be making final collections at the next club night December the 1st when I will have to pay the nice man for the number of places we require.

So don't miss out on the fun and frollics of the evening with no baggy shorts or lycra in sight....(sorry can't guarentee this in Pink Punters).

Surely that should be black tie and posh frocks or is it just the men that have to dress up smart!
