| Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to say that I am planning a nice little road `epic` for this Sunday 20 April. For all of you that wish to keep yourself fit I am planning a 75 - 100 mile ride. Don't let distance put you off (there's no hills around here) and there will be an excellent cafe stop en-route. Meet time 10am from normal mountain bike meeting place. e/mail me to confirm or bell me on 07792 373 458.
It's great training for any of those forthcoming Merida`s or if you are doing any Sportives this year..!
Cheers...

| Very nice cake Think I earned it I just traced the route out I done 40 miles Started from home across to Ashridge down to berko back up to ashridge down to aldbury back up to ashridge back down to aldbury! Then across to dancers end down to the canal along the edge of college lake nature reserve back on the canal to cooks wharfe. I retraced my tracks back up to the junction with the aylesbury arm took the towpath up towards wilstone, nearly ended up inthe canal twice! who said towpaths are easy to ride! I continued up the canal then doubled back to meads tea rooms for some well earned cake
I took the easy route home along the canal nearly had a mishap coming down some steps past the lock near berko it would of been a soft landing but ts a bit cold to be swimming!
Check the rough route I took here http://explore.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/os_routes/show/3053 _________________ The person that "looks" like they know what they are doing on a bike
