| Hi Guys,
I'm selling my Scale as I'm not using it enough and would like it to go to a good home. I will be post it on Ebay and Flog Your Bike.com tomorrow so will update this thread when the sale goes live. It is a 2006 19" large carbon frame with XTR/X9 set up, Reba Team fork, Mavic 817 rims with DT Swiss hubs, and the option to buy with EA50 bars and 25.4 90 mm Thompson stem, or the orginal Ritchey WCS flat race bar with 31.8 o/s 90mm Thompson stem. I am still pondering the price, but if anyone is keen to chat or wants a test ride, please email me or ring me.

| | superflyjim, dont know if it helps but I,m 6' tall and around 13.5 stone. I ride a Scott MC50 which felt oversized for me at first-top tube height is 23.3 or thereabouts. The Scale is less than half inch taller than the mc50. I think I would struggle with a medium now. Glad i got the bigger size |

| Seriously I think you would get more if you split it. Bikes for around the £1000 mark are hard to sell second hand, as there are always good deals on similar 'least seasons' models. E.g you can get the 2006 Scale 20 for £1400. So people would rather go for a brand spanker than a used one.
If you think of the following guide prices:
Frame £400 Forks £200 Wheels £150 Drive train £100 Bars £50 Seatpost £40 Stem £30 Tyres £30 Brakes / Levers £150
£1150 already, and thats being conservative.
I did it with a Giant XTC2 2 years back. Would've got £400 on Ebay, but split it and got £600 !!!!
..........oh and 13.5 stone......I want to use your scales !! _________________ Ride it like you've stolen it......... Litespeed Niota Just the ONE |

| | Yes I would mate I may have sold the frame already. Getting measured on an mc is slightly different than on a scale. A large would be to big Jim I think. |
