17.5 inch frame (medium) All standard kit apart from consumable upgrades.

Some cable mark rubs/scuffs and cracked paintwork underneath front mech (where it was over tightened by dealer at purchase).

That said, the bike is in good condition. Fork serviced twice since purchase by main distributor and all servicing by Evans / Corleys locally.

I've been offered a new job in MK so will be relocating soon. Hopefully in the next couple of months. I live in Haverhill (near cambridge) now, where nothing ever happens. One of the reasons for the decision on taking the new job...anyway...enough waffle.

Hi folks, got a bit of a worrying problem. I'm running a Hope Mono M4 (I think) front brake which is fairly new, I've only done maybe 10 rides on it. Up till now it's performed brilliantly.

The bike went into Evans last week to have the rear hose shortened and bled but they also said they'd 'adjust' the front if it needed doing, not sure if they touched it or not.

Can anyone recommend some frames and/or online suppliers. I don't know what there is out there, does anyone have any experience of these?

I need something to keep the dirt / wind out of my eyes. What coating(s) would you recommend? Polarising tint?

Cycle Yorkshire - Guided Ride

Guys, 6 of us travelled tup North at the weekend for a guided ride around the Ogden Water area, courtesy of Iain Johnson from Cycle Yorkshire.

It was a top day out. The scenery up there is breath taking, as you can see from the pictures below. We stayed in a Youth Hostel in Howarth for �20 including a HUGE fry up !! The hostel is idealy place as we started and finished the ride from there. Although Jase did get a little scared as he thought it was haunted !!

I'm from MK and have started doing a bit more biking again recently around Bow Brickhill/Woburn area. Trouble is, the route we've been doing isn't the most exciting route ever and I'd like to replace some of the wide bridleway type stuff with some more interesting single track. I've just done a search on here and read about various trails (roller coaster, moat, trek trail, etc) but having trouble working out what is where just by looking at the maps.

Hiya. Just posted in the trails forum but thought I'd introduce myself.

Been riding on and off for a few years but somehow managed to sign up to a few events this year to motivate myself so now I need to pull my finger out and get some time in the saddle! I know a few basic trails around Bow Brickhill but not many, so I'm thinking of joining you guys on a Sunday morning if that's ok. I've also been meaning to purchase a permit for ages now, so may as well get that via Cyclone MBC membership ...

I was amazed how many people were riding on Saturday, esp as Cyclone had a weekender on the go. Where do these other big groups come from? One group I passed around 12.30-12.45 must have had 8-10 guys riding. They cant be local as i only saw them in the church car park, and not on any of the trials I rode.

hi guys

hope your trip to wales was enjoyable and all went well i did a day trip to cwmcarn yesterday so thats one more to tick off the list

i have mixed feelings about this ride because not sure if i enjoyed it or not it did'nt seem to flow all that well but the singletrack section through the wood was very good had a good time at the top of the climb in the free ride area nice fast switchbacks and big table tops and doubles to jump but saying that it could'nt of been all that bad we did ...

The Cyclone nightowls discovered that the round house in the Woburn loop is now occupied and the land ownership is changing. Therefore, no-one is permitted to ride up the driveway. A no cycling sign is visible, albeit a very small sign at the driveway entrance. This had served as a memorable part of the ride and we have been asked by the owner to pass the word around.

Please respect the land and the owner's wishes. An alternative route is to enter the fields at the junction further down ...

Anybody else ride out from the church car park? Some large stumps have been placed across the top of the short incline over the road from the car park. Anybody any idea if this is a Bedford Estates/ Ranger thing? Surely all it will do is make people (bikers, walkers, doggers) create new routes to get up that side, rather than stop them, which I guess was the point of the exercise!!!
